How to remove the iron backing from patches so you can sew them on.
Jersey Central
I hate that iron on cunk. It is stiff and a shortcut with little value. Patches should be sewn on. Later you can take off the patch with a few snips. This turtorial show you how to remove the iron stuff that most patches come with these days. Basically - score the back with a knife and then boil the patch and then it is easy to pull off. Dry flat, press and sew.
